It’s time we have a chat about that woman staring back at you in the mirror.

Who is she?

Has she been her authentic self in the last few years, or has she taken on all the roles that she had to or felt she had to, to survive or get the love she so desperately wants?

Which ‘movies’ have you starred in?

  • Bridget Jones
  • Wonder Woman
  • Runaway Bride

When last did you feel safe to be your authentic self – that woman who believes in her hopes and dreams (the ones that are not connected to the roles you have to take on)?

In my experience (in my own life, and from working with many women), this can only happen when you restore the relationship with yourself, because that relationship determines everything else in your life.

Know your worth

Once you know your own value and worth something happens that causes you to fall in love with yourself. Only then do you realise that you don’t need to take on any roles that do not serve you, and you start stepping into your true self.

Your healing and knowing that you are enough and matter changes everything – how you treat yourself and how you allow other people to treat you.

The truth is: you don’t need to take on any of these roles to be enough.

You can choose who you want to be on a conscious and subconscious level.

The belief that stopped me from stepping out as my true self, was that I didn’t matter. It played out in all areas of my life – career, relationships, family, friends.

The root of what caused this belief was unexpected, but once it was uprooted (by tapping into my subconscious through Rapid Transformational Therapy), it finally clarified that murky image that was staring back at me in the mirror for so long.

I am not saying it is easy at first to be your authentic self, but it is definitely more sustainable. You don’t need to constantly change your roles to keep other people happy.

I challenge you today – look in that mirror

Who is looking back at you?
Do you like her?
Do you respect her?
Does she know she is enough and matters?

If you answered ‘’no’’ to any of these questions, it is time to start your healing or take it to the next level.
